The film serves as an indictment of the hear no evil, see no evil attitude that the Western world has had towards the rampant and blatant torture carried out in our name since the Al-Qaeda attacks on the United States in 2001.
Production
THUMBSCREWS was shot over the course of two days in Montreal, Quebec, using a bolex 16mm camera with colour stock. The film's total budget was $500.
